Dean & Deluca, a New York upscale chain of groceries, opened its first flagship store at Orchard Central. The store comprises a store, bakery and a cafe that serves all-day brunch menu. The first store was established in the SoHo district by three men, Joel Dean, Giorgio DeLuca, and Jack Ceglic. 

Set up in Singapore on June 2012, it took up the 3,200 square feet at Orchard Central. It was a nice ambience where friends could catch up.

I was introduced to this cafe and I fell in love with Dean & DeLuca. It was a nice and good location for social gatherings. Together with my friends, we enjoyed both the food and the venue. The food was indeed delicious and was worth to go back again.

Triple Mushroom Soup

I must say that the soup was yummy. The soup was more delicious when drizzled with truffle oil. A must try.

 

Egg Iberico

A hearty meal for one with two slices of toast breads, topped with sauteed mushrooms, bacons, two poached eggs and drizzled with Hollandaise sauce. The poached eggs, though it was not easy to prepare, was well done! I must applaud to the chef who did the poached eggs.

 

Berries & Flapjacks

I love the All-American Classic Berries & Flapjacks. With the generous serving of their own organic maple syrup, it was simply delightful. It was a hearty dish with four pieces of pancakes topped with blackcurrants and raspberries. You must order this when you are at Dean & DeLuca. Must try!

All classic American Breakfast

Another of my favourite - the All Classic American Breakfast. Served with sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, and mushroom, you will not go wrong with this. It was divine. I love and enjoy this immensely.
